Get to Know Flooring America of Colorado Springs STORE HISTORY For over 25 years, Flooring America of Colorado Springs has been the destination of choice for high quality floor covering, design and superior service. We are pleased to be locally owned and managed. In 1984, Jim Doerksen opened a flooring specialty store on North Circle called Colorado Springs Interiors and featured carpet, vinyl, ceramic tile and cabinets. In 1998, we joined a national cooperative of locally owned and operated flooring retailers and became known as Flooring America of Colorado Springs. This change enabled us to offer our customers a greater selection, better value, and more enhanced warranties than we could before. As Flooring America, we know for sure that our customers have a truly magnificent selection of flooring at the lowest prices, and we can do this with the hometown service that our customers have come to know and expect. In 2002 we moved to the North side of the city and are now located at 1015 Kelly Johnson Blvd, just off North Academy Blvd. Customers can choose from hundreds of classic and contemporary styles of famous name-brand carpet, hardwood, laminate, ceramic tile, and vinyl flooring, which are all backed by a Points of Difference Guarantee that includes price protection, a 30-day replacement guarantee, and a lifetime installation warranty. A wide range of services are available, including free pre-measurements and estimates, free design services, and professional installation by certified technicians. Our spacious showroom, designed to make shopping a pleasure for the entire family, includes a giant two-story playhouse for children. Our employees are members of the community who enjoy helping friends and neighbors with their flooring needs and are dedicated to giving our customers personalized customer service. We give back to the community through our involvement with Habitat for Humanity, American Heart Association (Go Red for Women), our local churches, schools and other sponsorships.
